③ CLAMP Exhibition

Even if you’ve never heard of the manga author/artist collective CLAMP, if you’ve been a big manga reader over the past few decades, there’s a good chance you’ve happened upon some of their work before! This four-woman group is the team behind popular works like Cardcaptor Sakura, xxxHolic, Chobits, and Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle (among many others), and over the years they’ve created a wide variety of stories to appeal to readers of all kinds. CLAMP is perhaps most famous for their vaguely linked multiverse of characters that show up in different forms in different stories, but the artist collective’s work can be found all over the place, even in the character designs for anime series like Code Geass. So whatever CLAMP series it was that made you a fan, you’ll probably enjoy this special exhibition! As a mid-career retrospective for the four women (Nanase Ohkawa, Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi), this exhibition is a deep dive into the diverse plethora of work in the CLAMP portfolio, and how things have grown and changed over the years. Dive deep into the world of Cardcaptor Sakura, see original illustrations from Chobits, and don’t miss the original manga panels from many of their popular series!
