The Giant Christmas Tree

As soon as you step into Tokyo Disneyland’s World Bazaar, you’ll be greeted by a symbol of Disneyland’s holiday festivities in Japan. The park’s massive Christmas tree is surrounded by festive decorations, covered in golden garlands and shimmering baubles. Even the nearby storefronts are decked out!

The tree is stunning by day, but when night falls and the lights come on, it sparkles with a welcoming warmth that’s truly magical.

Festive Disney Treats and Drinks
Tokyo Disney Resort is offering a selection of new or limited-time-only snacks and drinks for their holiday festivities, and with strawberries coming into season, our first recommendation this winter is the strawberry milk! It’s a perfectly balanced mix of sweet and tangy strawberry milk topped with crunchy bits. It’s so delicious you’ll want another one, but be warned – the lines are long, and even mobile orders fill up quickly! We tried it at the Huey, Dewey, and Louie’s Good Time Café in Toontown, but you can also get the drink at a handful of other locations.

Next up is the chocolate churros, which are truly a Christmas-exclusive delight! Crispy and sweet – just one bite and you’re in heaven.
They’re available all over the park, so you should have no trouble trying one. Or two. Or three.

▶︎ Disney Pro Tip: Dining spots and cafes in Disneyland are always crowded. Book your meals in advance or use the mobile order service to avoid long waits!
Cinderella’s Castle

The Cinderella Castle, where our favorite heroine is wooed by prince charming before carelessly leaving her shoe behind, is the heart of Disneyland. During Christmas, it’s more breathtaking than ever. The holiday decorations make it a must-see both during the day and at night – so don’t forget to make your way through the center of the park throughout the day to get all the best snapshots.
The Disney Christmas Parade

On our trip this Christmas season we busied ourselves with rides, instead of staking out the perfect parade spot, but we did catch glimpses of the Disney Christmas Stories: “Fond Farewell” parade. It’s filled with all your favorite characters and plenty of festive cheer. If you love parades, don’t miss this magical holiday experience!
Immerse Yourself in End-of-Year Magic at Tokyo Disneyland
As 2024 comes to a close, it’s time to celebrate a year of hard work and plenty of ups and downs. Before the holidays start in earnest, the end of the year is a busy time, but it’s important to take breaks and treat yourself. There’s no better way to do that than to step into the magical realm of Tokyo Disneyland, and let the joy and wonder of the holiday season heal your heart.

Reach for the Stars, the finale of Tokyo Disneyland’s nighttime fireworks spectacular, feels like the perfect encouragement for all the changes that the end of the year brings. Here’s to starting the new year with even more dreams and magic!
