Did you know there’s a giant Ferris Wheel inside the Hep Five shopping centre in Umeda?
This is a shopping centre that is located within a minute walk from the Osaka Umeda station.
The complex also includes cinemas and restaurants.
The big red whale
There's also a huge red whale inside the shopping centre which is about six stories high.
So, how do you get to the Ferris Wheel?
If you want to get to the Ferris wheel, you will need to first get to the seventh floor.
Once you get there, you should find the ticket vending machine with no troubles.
The ride costs 600 yen and free for children under 5 years old.
The rooftop panoramic view of Osaka at night is quite spectacular.
One carriage can carry up to 4 people, so if you are going with a group of people, you might want to plan in advance.
Here's your ticket to the top of the city! The maximum height is 106m.
Oh, and you can get special deals at some of the restaurants and shops within the complex if you present this ticket. So, make sure you hold on to it and don't lose it!
See more details here on their official website.
The shops are from Underground Level1 to level 6, go up the top then make your way down.
There are 21 shops inside the complex, so make sure you plan your shopping day right!
While you're in Osaka, make sure you check out the food arcade in Kuromon as well!
