Aeon LakeTown: Three Malls in One, Right Next to Tokyo

What could be better than one big mall that’s easy to get to from Tokyo? How about three big malls, all right next to the station, and easily accessible from the heart of Tokyo via a convenient train network? Aeon LakeTown is the biggest shopping mall in Japan, directly connected to Koshigaya Laketown Station for easy access, and the huge shopping complex split into three areas. Kaze is especially popular with young people and couples thanks to the variety of trendy fashion brands and cute cafes, along with a movie theater. In the Mori area you tend to see more families, who come to shop for the kids or browse the home goods. LakeTown Outlet is an obvious destination for anyone who likes a good deal!

Tucked in between the train station and a picturesque little lake, Aeon LakeTown has plenty of spots to sit and relax, where you can take in the view or enjoy the breeze coming off the water. Spend the day at Japan’s largest shopping mall to get yourself a major wardrobe update, fill your suitcase with Japanese souvenirs, and relax by the lakeside while you’re at it!

International Fashion

It should come as no surprise that the biggest mall in Japan has a huge selection of both Japanese and foreign fashion brands, to suit all kinds of styles. During the Japankuru team’s quick trip to Aeon LakeTown, we stopped by Nike Unite Koshigaya to see what Nike had to offer in their unique community-focused concept shop, and we couldn’t skip the chance to see what outlet offerings Dr. Martens had on the shelves. With over 700 shops in one place, many of which are devoted to fashion, these two shops are just the tip of the iceberg – but you have to start somewhere!
Kawaii Souvenirs from Japan

If you came to Japan on a mission to find all things kawaii, then Aeon LakeTown is certainly a good place to start. We recommend a trip to the Sylvania Forest Kitchen (シルバニア森のキッチン), which not only sells a selection of adorable Sylvanian Families figures and toys, but also has its own themed cafe! For a wider variety of cute items, you’ll want to stop by Party Rico, a gift shop stocked with convenient accessories (including bags and backpacks), stationery, and souvenir options featuring many of your favorite characters – Hello Kitty and the rest of the Sanrio gang share shelves with dozens of different Pokemon, as Rilakkuma looks on.
Relax by the Lake as You Shop at Aeon LakeTown

For a day of serious shopping, or a relaxing lakeside stroll, Aeon LakeTown is a convenient destination just beyond the border of Tokyo! Spend hours browsing hundreds of shops, or grab some snacks and while the day away on the comfortable outdoor seating at the largest mall in all of Japan!
