Toyota
Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. was born in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture.
That's the reason why Nagoya has a strong image of Toyota cars.
With the name of the city being Toyota, that makes it even obvious.

Let us introduce you to the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology.
They display the history of Toyota Motors.
Did you know that Toyota was originally a company that manufactured machines?
In 1926, Toyota Sakichi founded the company in Nagoya, and it was a company that had a reputation in manufacturing machines for textiles, and was called Toyota's 'Magic Loom'.
For that reason, this museum exhibits the weaving machines that people actually used in those days.
This display is a reproduction of the automobile manufacturing site at that time.
The museum is built where the textile factory was and been changed into a modern industrial heritage in Japan, contributing to Japan's industrial modernization.

In addition, you can see Toyota's first prototype car (made in 1936) and the first crown (made in 1955), as well as the hybrid car Prius … you can see the car's technological development at a glance.
