Une Activité Culturelle
La culture du ‘Onsen’ (温泉 autrement dit les sources chaudes) est peut-être quelque chose d’assez étranger pour nous français surtout si l’on prend en compte que les Japonais partagent leur bain nus! A vrai dire au Japon cette pratique est plus que régulière puisque les Japonais viennent s’y détendre plusieurs fois par mois et même par semaine pour certains.
Les bienfaits pour le corps sont divers suivant les sources mais une chose est sûr c’est que le Onsen est souvent l’une des raisons pour le choix d’une destination de voyage ou d’un ‘Ryokan’ (旅館, auberge traditionnelle). Voyons voir comment profiter de cette activité ‘relaxante’.
Différentes Façons d’en Profiter
Hakone Kowakien Yunessun
Un bon exemple d’endroit où profiter de ces sources chaudes : le Kowakien Yunessun! L’attraction principale du lieu est le bain extérieur → Quoi de mieux que de profiter de l’air frais extérieur tout en se détendant dans un bain chaud. Difficile d’expliquer à quel point cette pratique vous détendra!

Caractéristiques
Kawari Yu (変わり湯)
Comme son nom l’indique (変わる signifiant “changer’) ce bain change d’atmosphère tous les mois. Un thème nouveau est alors mis en place.
・Vous pouvez jeter un oeil au thème du moment sur les panneaux de Mori no yu
・Faites attention à ne pas être allergique aux arômes du moment
Thé Vert et Saké
Cette zone est plutôt spécial car vous pourrez tout simplement décidé de vous baigner dans un bain au thé ou encore à l’alcool, le Sake-Furo (酒風呂)

Et pourquoi pas un petit café?
Dans le Mori no Yu, les maillots de bain sont obligatoires. Vous pouvez si vous le souhaitez les louer sur place. Toutes ces zones sont réservées aux personnes portant un maillot de bain. Essayez de résister à l’envie de boire la tasse.
La cerise sur le gâteau
La dernière fois que nous sommes passés le thème du mois était le chocolat. Vous pourrez vous faire enduire de chocolat mais malheureusement pas le déguster.
Avec le Rodeo Mountain vous êtes sûr de faire un retour en enfance! Parfait pour les amoureux de parcs aquatiques. Ca sera certainement la première fois que vous profiterez d’un parc aquatique en plein hiver. Les bains ici sont chauds donc appréciez ce moment spécial.

Some destinations are popular regardless of the season, like Risshakuji Temple, AKA Yamadera, Ginzan Onsen's nostalgic old-fashioned streets, and Zao's Okama Lake, all great for taking pictures. Yamagata is also the place to try Yonezawa beef, one of the top 3 varieties of wagyu beef.

Plus, it's full of all sorts of destinations for travelers, like trendy shopping centers, and the beautiful nature of Itoshima and Yanagawa.

Kagoshima Prefecture played a major role in Japan's modernization as a backdrop for famous historical figures like samurais Saigo Takamori and Okubo Toshimichi, who pushed Japan out of the Edo era and into the Meiji. Because of that, Sengan-en Garden is just one of many historical destinations, and when it comes to attractions Kagoshima has plenty: the active volcano of Sakurajima, popular hot springs Ibusuki Onsen and Kirishima Onsen, World Heritage Site Yakushima Island, even what Japan calls the "island closest to heaven," Amami Oshima. Kagoshima might be found on the very southernmost tip of the southern island of Kyushu, but there's plenty to see.
