Guide de Voyage à travers la préfecture de Tochigi
Nous avons déjà évoqué Nikkō il y a quelques temps, nous y voici de retour en Hiver! Nikkō est une ville populaire pour ses ‘Onsen’ (温泉, sources chaudes thermales) de la préfecture de Tochigi. Vous y retrouver également de nombreux lieux et monuments inscrits au Patrimoine Mondial. Dans notre précédent article nous avions déjà évoqué le Nikkō Tōshōgu. Laissez-nous vous introduire Kinugawa Onsen et Yunishigawa Onsen!
Comment s’y Rendre?
La façon la plus simple de rejoindre Nikkō depuis Tokyo est d’emprunter la ligne Tobu Skytree en train super-express SPACIA. Depuis la station Tōbu d’Asakusa vous rejoindrez Nikkō en 110 minutes.

Via la ligne SPACIA vous rejoindrez la station Kinugawa Onsen en moins de 2 heures.
En japonais ‘Kinugawa’ (鬼怒川) se décompose en trois caractères :
‘Oni’ 鬼 qui signifie démon
‘Ki’ 怒 qui signifie être en colère
‘Gawa’ 川, le caractère symbolisant la rivière.
En d’autres termes, la rivière aux démons en colère!
En effet, le nom vient du fait que de nombreuses inondations se déclenchèrent à la suite de pluies torrentielles. Ces phénomènes naturels furent alors associés aux démons! Voyons voir les lieux à découvrir ici!
❶ Kinugawa Onsen
Il est dit que Kinugawa Onsen est reconnu pour le traitement des brûlures. Durant l’Epoque Edo, le développement des établissement d’onsen se fit petit à petit d’Ouest en Est. De nombreuses ‘Onsen Ryōkan’ (温泉旅館, auberges thermales) virent alors le jour.

Jetez donc un oeil à l’extérieur. Un paysage digne des meilleures peintures!
Un peu plus loin vous trouverez un petit sanctuaire. Au Printemps vous pourrez y apprécier les cerisiers en fleurs et en Automne les feuilles orangées des arbres. Cependant en Hiver il fait assez froid donc couvrez-vous bien!

❸ Edo Wonderland Nikkō Edomura
Utilisez votre Machine à remonter le temps grâce au Nikkō Edomura! Ce lieu retrace parfaitement les paysages de l’Epoque Edo. Bien sûr les paysages et l’ambiance d’époque sont présents mais en plus un tas d’activités et de jeux sont disponibles! Finalement, divers théâtres offrent des pièces sympathiques à découvrir.
Traversez les différents paysages pour découvrir les costumes des acteurs.
De nombreux jeux traditionnels sont disponibles ici!

International skiiers are especially fond of Zao Onsen Ski Resort and Gassan Ski Resort, and in recent years visitors have been drawn to the area to see the mystical sight of local frost-covered trees. Some destinations are popular regardless of the season, like Risshakuji Temple, AKA Yamadera, Ginzan Onsen's nostalgic old-fashioned streets, and Zao's Okama Lake, all great for taking pictures. Yamagata is also the place to try Yonezawa beef, one of the top 3 varieties of wagyu beef.

Kagawa Prefecture is on the northern part of the island of Shikoku, facing Japan's main island and the Seto Inland Sea. It's known for being the smallest prefecture in Japan, by area, but at the same time Kagawa is called the "Udon Prefecture" thanks to its famous sanuki udon. Aside from Kotohiragu Shrine and Ritsurin Garden, the prefecture's small islands are popular, and Kagawa is full of unique destinations, like Angel Road. They say that if you lay eyes on Zenigata Sunae, a huge Kagawa sand painting, you'll never have money troubles ever again.

Thanks to growing transportation networks, Fukuoka is more accessible than ever, and so are the many local attractions. On top of historical spots like Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, travelers shouldn't miss Fukuoka's food scene, with motsu nabe (offal hotpot), mentaiko (spicy cod roe), and famous Hakata ramen―best eaten from a food stall in the Nakasu area of Hakata. Plus, it's full of all sorts of destinations for travelers, like trendy shopping centers, and the beautiful nature of Itoshima and Yanagawa.

Kagoshima Prefecture played a major role in Japan's modernization as a backdrop for famous historical figures like samurais Saigo Takamori and Okubo Toshimichi, who pushed Japan out of the Edo era and into the Meiji. Because of that, Sengan-en Garden is just one of many historical destinations, and when it comes to attractions Kagoshima has plenty: the active volcano of Sakurajima, popular hot springs Ibusuki Onsen and Kirishima Onsen, World Heritage Site Yakushima Island, even what Japan calls the "island closest to heaven," Amami Oshima. Kagoshima might be found on the very southernmost tip of the southern island of Kyushu, but there's plenty to see.
